Phantasy Star Zero, the PSO comeback..?

I finally got my hands on a copy, and I've managed to finish normal mode.

I like how Sega have gone out of their way to listen to people this time.
The shared banking. Items not dropping until after a fight is over. Your own copy of each item so people don't fight over them.
You can easily change your character's appearance and name (and don't have to pay $15 either...).
You can see how many materials you've taken, and can even remove your materials now. There's no longer any stat-caps, so your choice of character doesn't limit you from the stronger weapons.

Also, considering that this is the DS, it's a very good port of PSO. All of the old magic is still there.

The only real complaint that I have for Sega is the under-utilization of the touch-screen. In PSO you could walk around whilst in the menu, there was a very quick way to change weapons or use items/techniques that you'd not set to a button, and on the PC there were 10 extra shortcut pallets.
It would have been so easy to do this on the DS as well by using the touchscreen for the menus, and for some extra pallets, but Sega didn't take that extra step Sad

Unfortunately the lack of any servers and Nintendo's insistence that you need to have each others friends codes before you can play properly really puts a very big barrier up against an online community forming.
It's as fun game to play over a WAN though ^_^;;
